Properties on a sustainable basis

Are you looking for impressive premises and a responsible lessor? Our properties are centrally located, the premises and building engineering promote wellbeing and they are served by excellent connections. We invest in the long-term in healthy and safe buildings with good public transport connections. We continuously improve the energy efficiency of our properties and reduce their environmental footprint.

Our properties also offer tenants the opportunity to improve their own responsibility. Their spatial arrangements and services have been designed to promote occupational wellbeing, green-office thinking and sustainable modes of transport, such as cycling to work.

We require a new building to have at least gold level LEED or similar certification and we seek LEED certification for our existing properties. We conduct energy efficiency simulations and study the potential of renewable energy, such as solar and geothermal energy, in conjunction with new construction. Our own offices in Porkkalankatu have the largest solar power plant of all properties in Helsinki. Our goal is to reduce the carbon footprint of our properties by 10% by 2020 and by 20% by 2025 from the 2015 level.
